H2WOW donates over $4,300 to the family of the victims of Denver house fire

August 31st, 2020

DENVER, CO – H2WOW Carwash donated over 550 free washes and raised over $4,300 on August 22nd to benefit the family of the victims of the Green Valley Ranch house fire that occurred on the morning of Wednesday, August 5th. One hundred percent of all car wash purchases were donated. Additionally, team members were on-site vacuuming and towel drying cars for tips, which were also donated.

Hundreds of community members arrived on Saturday and generously donated the cost of their wash or more. The success of the event and the amount of money we raised for this family would not have been possible without the immense show of support that we experienced! The money donated will go toward funeral costs and relocating the family’s remains to their home country, Senegal.

“We are beyond proud of how the community came out to support this fundraiser,” said H2WOW Carwash Co-Owner, Julie Petty. “As a part of our Green Valley Ranch community, this family is in our thoughts during this difficult time.”
